Reporting to SPPL’s sales and marketing director John Prust, Marie returns to SPPL after a short period working in the secured loans packaging sector, and now heads up a team of five account managers that has national coverage across England, Wales and Scotland. Prior to her recent appointment to SPPL, Marie was the company’s account manager for the North West region for two years, and before that she was appointed as graduate trainee by the Yorkshire Building Society in 1997, subsequently undertaking management roles in both the retail and intermediary sector.
John Prust said: “I am delighted that Marie has returned to fill the vacant role of national sales manager at SPPL. Secured second charge loans have out-performed all other loan sectors over the last five years, with average growth of more than 50 per cent per year, so it is a very exciting part of the mortgage market to be involved in at the moment. Marie is highly experienced in the secured loans field and has an excellent track record in team management, sales development and relationship building with our packagers and master brokers. I have no doubt that she will make a major contribution to the continued success of the SPPL business and work successfully to grow its market share over the next twelve months and beyond.”
