For the last three years, UK Finance Group Ltd has been publishing The Finance Book, a comprehensive and free series of directories listing sources of commercial finance. The publications are targeted at finance professionals and intermediaries and cover all areas of finance including property, invoice and asset finance.
The on-line version has now been launched at www.thefinancebook.co.uk and is available to anyone looking for commercial finance. Over 250 lenders are included in the database and the search facility enables a short list of potential lenders to be readily identified for most types of commercial funding requirement.
Managing Director, Brian Hamblin, believes that the timing of the launch couldn’t be better: “Whilst it was always our intention to move from the printed version of the database to an on-line version, recent events in the financial markets make it more important than ever for businesses to be aware of the full range of funding sources from the largest providers through to the specialist niche funders. We are delighted with this development and have received a very encouraging response from both lenders and users of the service.”
The service is free to users and a major benefit of the on-line version is that lenders are able to update their data whenever there is a change to their criteria. For the more challenging deals, the site also provides an option for users to post basic details of a required facility and receive direct contact from lenders who may have an appetitive for the proposal.
