He replaces a veteran, who will now focus on the London area
Former Coventry Building Society business development manager Richard Goodman (pictured above) has joined the Nottingham Building Society to support brokers in the East Midlands region.
He will assume the position vacated by experienced BDM Amanda Miller (pictured below), who has stepped into the role of helping advisers in the London area.
Goodman, who also previously worked for HSBC, Lloyds Group and RBS, said he is looking forward to building and growing great working relationships with brokers for The Nottingham.
“It’s a challenge that really appeals, not least because the society has shown such ambition recently to deliver several positive additions to its products and services. Those include the introduction of soft searches at DIP, product transfers via brokers, and criteria enhancements to support buy-to-let and limited company BTL lending,” he said.

“I’ve always stuck by a principle of doing the right thing by people and it is clear to me that The Nottingham shares that ethos. It’s an exciting time to be here.”
Miller, who has amassed invaluable knowledge during her 20-plus years at the Nottingham, said taking on the new role was also an exciting challenge for her too.
“Hopefully my knowledge and expertise will play a key role in supporting London brokers and informing them about our products, services and #BuiltAroundBrokers ethos,” she said.
Deborah Reeves, the Nottingham’s national sales manager, added that she looks forward to seeing Goodman play a key role in supporting brokers across the East Midlands, as Miller will in London too.
