The seminars are aimed at providing information and advice on the background to regulation. They will examine how technology can be used to provide solutions for compliance, archiving and monitoring requirements.
The events which started at Southampton on 11 Feb, still have another three to run, at Huntingdon (4 March), Crawley (10 March) and London (18 March). Full details are available at www.trigold.co.uk
Trigold has also announced it is working with Cheltenham & Gloucester (C&G) to create a system whereby electronic applications can be sent to all of the lender’s 207 branches. This will allow C&G to maintain its localised relationships between branches and intermediaries.
Nick Hale, Cheltenham & Gloucester’s sales director, said: “The relationship between our branches and their intermediaries is extremely strong and enabling them to deliver applications to us in an electronic format will strengthen this further.”
Joint managing director of Trigold, Bill Safran, commented: “By offering brokers the choice of selecting the branch they wish to deal with we are creating the best of both worlds.”
The SQ2 network, part of the Squirrel group of financial services, has also announced it will be adding Trigold’s Compliance Shield to its adviser offering.
