Evidently there is a rump concerning energy efficiency that still needs to be produced. As a naive IFA, may I ask why this just can’t be incorporated into the valuation, thereby saving everyone a lot of unnecessary bother?
Perhaps this is a vain plea bearing in mind how our present government likes to interfere in every aspect of our lives. When will we have inspectors in toilets ensuring we don’t use too much paper and flush too often?
All the global warming stuff is all very well, but I for one am enjoying our Mediterranean Summer. It may of interest to readers that one of the most significant sources of methane (a major contributor to the greenhouse effect) is flatulence from cattle. Perhaps Blair will suggest we all become vegetarian? I suggest we gag everyone in Westminster – we’d save a huge amount of hot air!
