Operated in partnership with national conveyancer Goldsmith Williams, it is being set-up to speed transactions by providing seven-day-a-week trading, online tracking, a direct link to the Land Registry, and fixed-price guarantees. The service, which goes live in early April, is reckoned to reduce conveyancing periods by, on average, 20%.
Mark Leaper, Managing Director of Vesta Packaging, said: “We can now bring the whole process in house and offer our clients swifter turnaround, from application to completion. Unlike other companies that offer this, our conveyancing staff will be in-house at Vesta’s Poole base.”
He added: “Others in the market try to offer this sort of service, but ours will be genuinely service focused. Unlike others we will not use third parties based elsewhere and will not use panels of solicitors, so we will be able to control the process at our end.”
Eddie Goldsmith, Senior Partner Goldsmith Williams, said: “We are delighted to have taken this joint approach with Vesta. We have been working with them since they started and our relationship has always been excellent. Vesta is at the forefront of those who can see the major benefits of on-site legal services. I am sure that this will be a major benefit to all those who work with Vesta.”
Direct-to-consumer lender Vesta Money launched Vesta Packaging a year ago to offer a service-focused packaging operation to intermediaries. Since that time it has grown to be a national packager and branded lender.
