White Oak has appointed Natasha Powell as director of risk and compliance, White Oak Europe.
Powell will take the lead on managing the firm’s regulatory compliance risk framework as part of White Oak’s commitment to regulatory excellence.
The role will involve identifying, assessing, and reporting on risks, providing oversight and challenge to the business’s execution and adherence to its regulatory obligations, and managing the firms ongoing relationship the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA).
Powell has over 15 years’ experience in financial compliance and regulatory roles, most recently heading up her own compliance consultancy firm advising European hedge funds, asset managers and prime brokerage firms on effective compliance strategy and framework implementation.
Prior to working as a consultant, she spent 10 years in senior compliance roles at RBS, Schroders and Barclays Capital, in addition to working as a European regulatory policy expert at the FCA.
