The lender has said there is no impact on any customer-facing services or any other of Barclay’s systems.
It said the fault was due to technical problems.
The system is still available in a “read-only” mode but Barclays said completions and critical work can still be done.
Barclays were unable to provide a timeline for when the system would be fixed again but said it is working hard now on resolving the issues.
