Zorin Finance has appointed Vinod Vijaya (pictured, right) as lending director within the company’s origination team.
The hire is part of Zorin’s growth plan to lend £300m in the next 12 months, following its recent funding agreement entered into by certain funds advised by the Avenue Capital Group.
Vijaya will report to Andrew Scotting (pictured, left), chief lending officer, and focus on servicing small to medium enterprise (SME) housebuilders in Greater London and the regions.
He has over 16 years’ experience in corporate banking, having previously held senior positions at BAWAG, Barclays and Funding Circle.
Throughout his career, Vinod has held roles in loan origination and portfolio management across commercial, investment and development transactions.
Scotting said: “Vinod brings a wealth of specialist finance knowledge and experience to the team especially in relation to development finance and investment loans.
“We are looking forward to Vinod joining us and believe his drive and energy will unlock new lending opportunities and contribute to our rapidly growing book.”
