Rob Clifford took over CEO of Stonebridge Group at the end of July 2019. Clifford is well known in the mortgage industry for building and leading a number of intermediary businesses. He’s been with Stonebridge Group since 2015 and was the group director before his most recent promotion. Now, he leads the management team and is accountable for the firm’s strategy. On the day of his appointment, Clifford said: “I am very pleased to now lead the business as its chief executive, four years after I joined its board as a director, given we have significant ambitions and projects to launch which will benefit our advisers and member firms. We have a fantastic senior management team at Stonebridge, who have been in post for many years and together I know we can build on the incredible work that the team has achieved to date.”
