James Laird is the President of CanWise Financial, and also a co-founder of financial comparison website Ratehub.ca, and director of real estate brokerage Zoocasa. James founded CanWise Financial in 2014 and has since grown the business into Canada’s largest independent brokerage; winning Brokerage of the Year in both 2018, 2019 and 2020 from the Canadian Mortgage Awards. James received an Honours Bachelor of Commerce degree from Queen’s University. James is a go-to source for insights on real estate industry trends, and has contributed expert commentary to BNN Bloomberg, The Globe and Mail, CBC and Huffington Post Canada.
