managing director for New Zealand
Peter Wood is the managing director for Bluestone’s New Zealand operations, responsible for new mortgage origination, and all servicing and special servicing aspects for Australia and New Zealand. He has been with Bluestone for more than 10 years now. He first joined the financial services business in 2002 before moving to Australia to establish Bluestone’s commercial mortgage business between 2006 and 2009. He then made a career move to Genworth Financial in 2009 as director of shared services, then to Wood Consulting in 2010 as director, before re-joining Bluestone as general manager for Asia Pacific in 2013. In 2014, he became chief operating officer at Bluestone, until his appointment as managing director for New Zealand in January 2019.
