After two decades of experience in the mortgage banking industry, Melissa Kozicki is now pursuing a special focus on compliance. She’s developed education and training programs that she offers to employees, customers and professional associations alike. “Her real passion is compliance, and she doesn’t like that most people dread learning it,” says Meredith Duhaime, senior associate of external communications at Altisource. “So she has made every effort to make her trainings as fun and interactive as possible.” Kozicki is active in many professional associations. She’s been the chair of the Michigan Mortgage Brokers Association’s education committee and been a member of the education committees for the Michigan Mortgage Lenders Association and the National Association of Mortgage Brokers. She’s also a member of the Mortgage Bankers Association.
