Lola O’Mallan has been recognized as one of the leading women in the US mortgage industry by being listed in the 2017 edition of Mortgage Professional America's Elite Women
Lola O’Mallan joined Stearns Lending in 2007 and was tasked with opening a regional operations center in Concord, California. Within the first year of the center’s operation, she led her team to a fivefold increase in units funded; in 2010, the center funded more than $1 billion. More recently, O’Mallan was asked to transition the center to exclusively serve Stearns’ burgeoning retail channel, and she and her team quickly adapted and embraced the new partnership with retail sales managers and mortgage loan originators. The center is currently the highest-producing retail regional operations center with Stearns. Due to her track record of success, O’Mallan has been, and continues to be, called upon for many initiatives and pilot programs for the organization, and her expertise is frequently sought by Stearns’ senior management.
O’Mallan began her career in the mortgage industry in her native Guam in 1994, serving as a mortgage loan originator for seven years. She was a member of the Guam Association of Realtors and often held seminars across the island to educate veterans on the VA Home Loan Program. Prior to joining Stearns, O’Mallan held various positions within the industry, including retail branch manager, closing manager and operations manager.
