Susan Meitner has been recognized as one of the leading women in the US mortgage industry by being listed in the 2017 edition of Mortgage Professional America's Elite Women
Susan Meitner started Centennial Lending Group seven years ago, and since then it has grown to 60 employees across eight locations, expanding to include a broader swath of the East Coast and beyond. Meitner has been recognized as a leading CEO by various publications and organizations, including the Inc. 5000, Philadelphia Magazine, and MPA’s Hot 100 list.
“I love that the industry is becoming more diverse, yet I still believe there is a need to illustrate the success of women in this industry,” Meitner says. “Some of the challenges [that remain] are being seen as ‘bossy’ in a negative way when you are doing your job, or [for] a salesperson to be seen as an equal producer.” Meitner sits on the board of The Mortgage Collaborative and is on the trustee and finance committees of Gwynedd Mercy University, a growing university with many first-generation college students.
