Jasmine Krnjetin has been recognized as one of the leading women in the US mortgage industry by being listed in the 2018 edition of Mortgage Professional America's Elite Women
Loan originator
Waterstone Mortgage
Jasmine Krnjetin was born in Serbia, grew up in Sweden and immigrated to the US at age 16. Her entrepreneurial spirit was evident when she started a marketing business at a young age. She first became interested in the mortgage process when her sister bought a home in 2001, and Krnjetin began her career as an originator soon after. For the past seven years, she has averaged $50 million in annual production. As one of the top 10 originators at Waterstone Mortgage, Krnjetin had the opportunity earlier this year to attend an industry roundtable with her colleagues at the Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac headquarters in Washington, DC.
For Krnjetin, the intellectual challenge of mortgage lending is the most enjoyable aspect of the job. “I’m always looking for new ways to help my clients make smart financial decisions concerning their mortgages,” she says. “I also enjoy the continually changing landscape of the mortgage industry, from the products to the technology, and I love being part of an industry that’s responsible for driving our nation’s economy.”
