During her tenure at NFM Lending, LaTasha Rowe has been instrumental in reshaping the organization in myriad ways, including spearheading approval with Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac and Ginnie Mae, as well as managing the rebranding of the company’s trade name to NFM Lending, making the organization more recognizable for its services in the industry.
Women and minorities make up at least half of NFM Lending’s workforce, so Rowe knows firsthand that when diversity and inclusion are present, an organization can thrive. “Differing cultures and backgrounds are the foundation of our country,” she says. “I am proud that NFM Lending takes diversity seriously and creates an environment where the main goal is to be the best we can for our consumers. I firmly believe that we outpace our peers in serving women and minorities because our company very much looks like the communities we serve.”
Currently, Rowe is working to establish a platform that assists and educates consumers in the Latin American market, and to establish a networking group for the women within the company. She is also an active participant in numerous industry-related associations, including the Mortgage Bankers Association and the Maryland Mortgage Bankers Association, where she is a member of the legislative action committee.
