A well known figure in commercial real estate finance, Alan Wiener serves as group head of Wells Fargo Multifamily Capital, which specializes in providing multifamily loans for Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac and the Federal Housing Administration.
Wiener joined Wells Fargo in 2009 after the company’s acquisition of Wachovia. Before his career in real estate finance, Wiener served as area manager of the US Department of Housing and Urban Development’s New York office and was an assistant to former New York City mayor Abe Beame.
