Churchill has chosen industry veteran Doug Walker for an expanded leadership role
Churchill Mortgage has tapped industry veteran Doug Walker as vice president of national sales support and business development.
Walker, an 18-year industry vet, was previously Churchill’s vice president of sales and marketing. In his new role, he oversees Churchill’s sales support division and works with the company’s branches to maximize production goals within their individual markets. He also pursues stronger relationships between the company’s loan officers and realtor partners by finding innovative ways to help accelerate the home-buying process.
“We are adjusting to an industry that is seeing improvement,” said Mike Hardwick, president of Churchill Mortgage. “Doug’s leadership and history of success are matched only by his extensive knowledge of our business. Focusing his talents to develop Churchill’s teams across the country ensures that we effectively meet borrowers’ needs while positioning ourselves for continued expansion.”
“Engaging and communicating with prospective borrowers is paramount to successful growth,” said Walker. “Churchill understands this and provides each branch with the tools necessary to grow its business and provide exceptional service to our customers and business partners. As I take on greater responsibility, I look forward to being a part of Churchill’s continued success.”
