GSF Mortgage has tapped industry vet Scott Ozark to join its Appleton, Wis., branch
GSF Mortgage has tapped industry vet Scott Ozark to join its Appleton, Wis., branch. Ozark will work under branch manager Mike Cox.
“Scott Ozark is a great addition to the Appleton branch. His extensive knowledge on different loan programs and diverse business background will be a true asset to GSF,” Cox said. “Scott is going to focus on helping first time homebuyers get into the home they always wanted even if they have been told no in the past. His goal is to help every home buyer in the Fox Valley find their own path to closing. I'm looking forward to seeing what Scott will do over his career at GSF.”
Ozark received a degree in finance from the University of Chicago and holds a master’s degree from Lakeland College. He joined the banking industry out of college, working as a credit analyst before moving on to underwriting, business loans and financial modeling. Ozark then moved into commercial lending and originated commercial loans for 14 years before shifting to residential lending.
Ozark and Cox are working to expand GSF’s presence in Wisconsin with a multi-tiered marketing campaign incorporating mailers, face-to-face meetings and online branding.
