Nominations are now open for the Power Originator Summit Awards
High performers and stand-out stars in the mortgage world will be celebrated at the 2020 Power Originator Summit. It’s a great opportunity to recognize those who’ve really made an impact in the industry in 2019.
This is the second year that industry stars will be recognized with the Power Originator Summit Awards in four separate categories: Originator of the Year, Woman of Distinction, Young Gun of the Year, and Best New Technology.
The Originator of The Year award will be handed out to a mortgage originator who took 2019 by storm. Judges will be looking at the nominees’ loan volume and closed loans this year compared to 2018, their tenure in the industry, professional recognitions, and other personal achievements.
If you know a female trailblazer whose personal and professional victories have led them to mortgage industry success, the Woman of Distinction award could be a great fit. Nominees are judged on professional accomplishments over the past five years, including any business initiatives, new business to the company, and/or innovative ideas. The panel will also consider whether the nominee demonstrates the championing, promotion and influence of other women within the industry, as well as leadership of professional associations and any other accolades. Charitable work and accomplishments outside the industry are also an asset.
The Young Gun of the Year award is looking to highlight the achievements of an outstanding mortgage professional under 35. Any professional or personal feats will be considered while choosing the winner, on top of loan volumes and closed loans from 2018 to 2019. Those nominated must have been in the mortgage industry for at least three years.
The final award is given to the individual or organization with the most outstanding and innovate digital platform for mortgage professionals. The Best New Technology Award will look at the problem that was solved through the technology, the impact it’s made on increasing sales, how many users it had throughout the year, and any industry-wide recognition the technology received.
Both self and peer nominations are accepted and may be submitted online through the Power Originator Summit website until February 13, 2020. Finalists will be chosen and judged by a group of diverse thought leaders and experts from within the mortgage, finance and real estate industries.
The winners will be announced at the Power Originator Summit on March 26, 2020 at the Anaheim Convention Center.
