New and promoted executives set to enhance mortgage loan services
Cenlar FSB has announced a new leadership appointment and a string of promotions.
The mortgage servicer has tapped Heidi Carter (pictured) as business information officer. Carter will lead the corporate functions across Cenlar’s enterprise, focusing on optimizing technology platforms and continuing the company’s technology transformation.
Before Cenlar, Carter held key positions at Gap Inc. and JPMorgan Chase, bringing a wealth of knowledge in operational risk, control, financial analysis, and technology management.
Among the promoted leaders is Owen Amster, now vice president and controller. Amster, who joined Cenlar in May 2021, previously worked at KPMG and brings over 25 years of experience to his leadership role in corporate accounting.
Nick Brett has been promoted to senior VP of client management. Brett, who joined the company in November 2020, has been influential in establishing strong relationships with key clients. Before joining Cenlar, he held executive-level positions at US Bank and Bayview Loan Servicing.
Mike Day, with an 18-year tenure at Cenlar, has been promoted to VP of executive client management. Known for his successful track record in fostering long-term client relationships, Day has significantly contributed to various operational roles and is recognized for his expertise in managing some of Cenlar’s largest clients.
Trevor Friel, now VP of workforce management, has been instrumental in implementing process improvements since joining Cenlar in 2020. Friel previously worked at Voya Financial and Verizon, bringing valuable experience in workforce planning and analysis.
Rena Madia, promoted to VP of customer interaction, brings over 25 years of experience enhancing customer experiences and driving satisfaction. She joined Cenlar in 2013 and has excelled in roles related to customer and client satisfaction, operations, and risk management.
