Veteran mortgage lending executive has closed over 6,500 loans in his career
John Cady has been appointed as the new president of Citywide Home Loans, a national lender powered by Guaranteed Rate Companies.
Cady has been recognized throughout his career with several industry awards and has racked up more than 35 years of experience in the mortgage industry. He has been described as a veteran in his field, having grown platforms, both regional and national, in excess of $15 billion in yearly production and having closed over 6,500 loans. He has extensive experience in building and managing all channels of mortgage production and operations, including retail, wholesale, joint venture, credit union, consumer direct, and recruiting.
“I’m incredibly pleased to be joining Citywide Home Loans,” said Cady. “The company is the perfect mix of culture, service and programs that many mortgage professionals have been looking for. I believe we’re in position to pick up market share throughout the country.”
Originators as entrepreneur partners
In his new position Cady will see the continuation of Citywide Home Loans’ national growth. He came to Citywide for its reputation for treating originators like entrepreneur partners, he said.
“We help build habits that will stay with the loan officer the rest of their career,” said Cady. “We’re especially proud to have seen an increase of over 40% in production.”
