New CFO at one, while another elevates executive
Cornerstone Capital Bank and Gateway First Bank have announced key additions to their executive leadership teams.
Houston-based Cornerstone Capital Bank has named Paul Woo (pictured left) as its new chief financial officer. As CFO, Woo will be instrumental in driving the bank’s future growth and expansion efforts, it said.
Woo brings over 30 years of experience in banking and financial services, with a strong background in strategic planning and capital management. Before joining Cornerstone, Woo was a senior vice president at Cadence Bank, where he played a crucial role in capital planning and corporate development. He also has extensive experience in private equity, investment banking, and financial analytics.
“We are delighted to welcome Paul to our executive leadership team,” said Cornerstone president and CEO Scott Almy. “Paul’s impressively broad and deep background will be instrumental in helping us to realize our growth and performance goals.”

Meanwhile, Gateway First Bank has promoted Robin Jenkins (pictured right) to senior vice president and director of treasury management within its commercial banking team.
Jenkins, who has 28 years of experience in the financial services industry, will lead growth and strategic initiatives from Gateway’s Oklahoma City office. Jenkins has a proven track record in treasury management, retail, small business, and commercial banking.
“Robin’s expertise in cash management sales is crucial as we grow our banking operations,” Gateway CEO Scott Gesell said in a media release. “We are dedicated to providing our communities with exceptional financial products and services. Robin plays a key role in our ongoing success.”
