New executives to drive capital markets strategy and business development

CrossCountry, Interlinc Mortgage expand leadership with key hires

CrossCountry Mortgage (CCM) has strengthened its executive team with the addition of three key hires.

The lender has named Vandad Fartaj (pictured left) as chief investment officer, William Chang (pictured center) as chief capital markets officer, and Tom Rettinger (pictured right) as chief portfolio risk officer.

In their new roles, Fartaj, Chang, and Rettinger will oversee critical areas including investment strategy development, secondary market activities, risk management, and hedging. Each brings a wealth of experience in mortgage finance, a move CCM hopes will further enhance its capital markets and investment strategies.

"CCM welcomes Vandy, Will and Tom during an exciting time for our company," CrossCountry CEO Ron Leonhardt said in a Press release. "They bring deep industry knowledge, relationships and unparalleled expertise in navigating complex capital markets. We're excited to bring them onboard as we work to enhance CCM's growth and investment strategies."

In another key industry move, InterLinc Mortgage has appointed Brian Ramey (pictured below) as its new business development manager.

Ramey, who has over 12 years of experience in the mortgage sector, previously held roles at Rapid Mortgage, Fidelity Mortgage, USA Mortgage, and CrossCountry Mortgage.

"I am thrilled to have Mr. Ramey join the team here at InterLinc. I believe Brian has the energy and the passion to help spread the word about what we do and how it can benefit the right individual," said James Durham, senior vice president at Interlinc.
