“This promotion recognizes Mack’s talent as a capital markets strategist”
Non-QM lender Deephaven has announced the appointment of Mack Walker to senior vice president, director of capital markets.
On top of his existing responsibilities, Walker will increase his focus on the growth and profit strategies of Deephaven’s sourcing channels. He will also be responsible for the company’s product development and the delivery of non-QM assets into the secondary market.
Walker started his mortgage career at Deephaven in 2015 as a capital market analyst. After two years, he was promoted to the position of capital markets associate before stepping up to vice president of capital markets in 2020.
“This promotion recognizes Mack’s talent as a capital markets strategist, as well as his energy and impact. He has been important to Deephaven’s evolution since he joined us six years ago,” said John Keratsis, president and CEO of Deephaven.

“I am excited to be joining the senior team of a true thought leader in the non-agency space,” Walker said. “There is a sense at Deephaven that the non-QM market, and broader non-agency market as a whole, are poised for a transformation, and it’s gratifying to influence the changes ahead.”
