Industry veteran takes helm as head of production
Evergreen Home Loans, a full-service mortgage lender, has announced a leadership transition within its production team.
The Washington-based company has promoted Robert Lipston (pictured) to head of production. Lipston, who joined Evergreen in 2022, will take over from Don Zender, who has served as president of production for the past three years. Zender will continue in his current role through the end of 2024 to support the transition.
“I am very excited and honored to serve as the head of production,” Lipston said. “I am grateful to Don for everything he has taught me, and I am thrilled to build on his legacy. Don has imparted valuable lessons, and I promise to honor his legacy and continue to support the company’s convictions of integrity, family, fun, growth, and creativity. I look forward to creating continued Evergreen growth and success. We will strive to live up to our vision of changing the world one relationship at a time.”
In a media release, the lender said that Zender, along with Todd Miles, Joe Moley, and Lipston, led the production team through challenging market conditions. According to Evergreen, they “have thrived and succeeded in a market where others have faltered.”
Starting in 2025, Zender will remain on the executive leadership team and manage the Bellevue, Washington region while also overseeing growth initiatives across the company.
