New member to enhance affordable housing initiatives and community lending
The Federal Home Loan Bank of Atlanta (FHLBank Atlanta) has announced the appointment of Jamie Flynn (pictured) as the newest member of its Affordable Housing Advisory Council.
Flynn, currently the director of housing for the Seminole Tribe of Florida (STOF), will bring her extensive experience in housing oversight to the council.
The Affordable Housing Advisory Council of FHLBank Atlanta consists of 15 members representing various community and non-profit organizations actively involved in low- and moderate-income housing and community lending within the bank’s district. This body plays a pivotal role in collaborating with FHLBank Atlanta’s board of directors and management team to address community lending and housing finance needs within the bank’s district.
According to the bank’s media release, Flynn’s appointment is expected to further strengthen the council’s capacity to meet the diverse housing needs of communities in the bank’s service area.
Since 2019, Flynn has led as the tribal-wide housing director for STOF, managing various housing initiatives to provide homeownership opportunities, emergency home repairs, and rental housing through multiple programs.

Her role spans seven Native American reservations in Florida, overseeing over 2,000 residential structures and a team of over 100 workers. Flynn’s responsibilities include property management, credit and lending, and the new construction of over 600 homes.
