Leadership rearrangement aims to help the firm grow its business key market
Granite Mortgage has made a series of changes at the top of its organization, including the appointment of Jacob Reiter (pictured) as the company's CEO.
According to a statement released by the company, Reiter – a longstanding Granite Bank executive and current chief credit officer – will work in a dual role, maintaining his current responsibilities in addition to his new role.
Industry veteran Josh Boss has joined the company as chief operating officer. He came from CrossCountry Mortgage, where he previously served as divisional vice president. In his new role, Boss will oversee Granite's systems rollout and improvement, operational success, and managing sustainable growth.
"We are excited Josh has joined the Granite family," said Jerry Reiter, president and CEO of Granite Bank. "With his extensive knowledge of the mortgage industry combined with his focused approach, we are confident he is the best choice to build Granite Mortgage."
Additionally, the lender has added Brian Fitz as chief development officer and Hannah Webster as chief of staff. Fitz will focus on recruiting new talents and managing relations, while Webster will lead administrative matters and other strategic initiatives.
Granite Mortgage said its leadership team is focused on growing its footprint in the upper Midwest and is actively looking to add branches and loan originators to the team.
