He will spearhead DC expansion
Atlantic Bay Mortgage Group has added John Pyne (pictured) to its leadership team as producing area manager.
Pyne’s appointment is a strategic move to bolster the company’s growth in the DC Metropolitan area, focusing on enhancing technology-driven workflows and diversifying the range of products and programs offered.
A seasoned professional with over two decades of experience in the mortgage industry, Pyne joined Virginia-based lender from Intercoastal Mortgage, where he most recently served as executive vice president and senior loan officer. He is also an active board member of the Mortgage Bankers Association of Metropolitan Washington.

“His passion for improving processes and client-focused mentality has enabled him to assist over 2,000 families achieve their dream of homeownership and close more than $1 billion in career loan volume,” the company said in a media release. “As a fourth-generation Washingtonian, John brings with his professional accomplishments a keen understanding of the mortgage market and housing ecosystems in Washington, DC, Virginia, and Maryland.”
