Lending-in-a-Box names new president

Incenter Lender Services has announced the appointment of Ralph Armenta (pictured) as president of its Lending-in-a-Box platform.

Armenta was described as a veteran in the mortgage and fintech industries with over 20 years of experience. In his new role, he will spearhead the development and distribution of mortgage and non-mortgage products designed to boost revenue and liquidity for lenders, independent mortgage banks (IMBs), credit unions, and other financial institutions.

Armenta’s role will focus on accelerating the introduction of new products that can rapidly generate income streams for clients without the need for substantial upfront investments. These offerings, available through the company’s digital Lending-in-a-Box platform, allow clients to quickly establish new revenue channels with minimal operational overhead, according to a news release.

Bruno Pasceri, president of Incenter, emphasized the strategic importance of Armenta’s appointment.

“Incenter is fortunate to add Ralph to our team as our clients seek a new infusion of growth,” said Pasceri. “He is recognized for his insightful business analyses and innovations aimed at lifting the housing finance industry. This industry is at a watershed moment where the ability to offer non-traditional products like student, auto or personal loans, or to tap into demand for residential transition loans (RTLs) or second-lien products, can offer a long-term advantage. Ralph will help our clients enter new spaces while providing additional opportunities for the secondary and capital markets.”

Product requires no upfront investments

Armenta expressed enthusiasm for his new role, noting the potential of the Lending-in-a-Box strategy. “When Incenter introduced me to its Lending-in-a-Box strategy, I immediately wanted to sign on. Lending-in-a-Box is the most revolutionary and impactful mortgage concept I have seen, and an example of Incenter’s boundless creativity,” he stated.

The platform’s first product, Student-Loan-in-a-Box, developed by Incenter subsidiary CampusDoor, enables lenders to offer private student loans and refinancing options without significant capital investments or operational risks. The service includes underwriting, technology support, and loan processing handled by CampusDoor’s team.

Before joining Incenter, Armenta served as senior vice president of enterprise sales at Computershare Loan Services, where he was recognized as a top salesperson. His extensive industry background also includes leadership roles at LoanFuel and Compass Analytics, as well as a two-decade tenure as an adjunct professor in corporate finance, macroeconomics, and financial strategy at Empire State University.
