CEO believes employees will be empowered to "deliver best-in-class borrower and client experiences" with exec at the helm
Planet Home Lending has tapped Dan Granieri (pictured) to serve as its new chief technology officer.
In a statement, the mortgage originator and servicer said that Granieri will be responsible for creating “proactive technology that meets customers’ needs and positions the company for long-term growth.”
Before joining Planet, Granieri led the IT team of Sacramento-based retail lender Summit Funding in building a mortgage technology platform for loan officers. He has also held leadership positions at EPIC Insurance Brokers & Consultants, Relation Insurance Services, Quest Diagnostics, and North American Mortgage.
“We continuously implement technology to support Planet’s synergistic, multichannel business model,” said Michael Dubeck, president, and CEO of Planet Home Lending. “During his two decades in the industry, Dan has achieved impressive results, and we are delighted to have him on the Planet team. With Dan driving innovation, our IT will empower employees and deliver best-in-class borrower and client experiences.”

A key initiative at Planet Home Lending is the completion of our end-to-end e-close platform for borrowers and partners.”
