RE/MAX welcomes new board member

RE/MAX Holdings, Inc. has announced the election of Cathleen “Cathi” Raffaeli to its board of directors.

Raffaeli, a seasoned executive with over 25 years of experience in board leadership across financial services, technology, and education, will also serve on the board’s compensation and audit committees. She succeeds Kathleen Cunningham, who retired after more than a decade of service.

Raffaeli currently serves as CEO and managing director of Hamilton White Group LLC and Soho Venture Partners Inc., where she focuses on financial strategies and investments. She is also involved with Abrdn PLC, overseeing a $500 billion asset portfolio with a significant global real estate presence. Her extensive background includes key roles at Merrill Lynch Realty and Chase/Chemical Bank, where she pioneered the mortgage division’s marketing and telemarketing efforts. She also previously served on the boards of the Federal Home Loan Bank of New York and American Home Mortgage Investment Corp.

Dave Liniger, chairman of the board at RE/MAX Holdings, expressed confidence in Raffaeli’s ability to contribute to the company’s growth. “[Cathi] has an impressive track record of driving growth and leading organizations. Her diverse experience and strategic insight align perfectly with our goals, and we are excited to welcome her to the team,” Liniger said.

Liniger also acknowledged Cunningham’s contributions. Cunningham played a pivotal role in the company’s transition during its IPO in 2013 and chaired the audit committee for nearly 11 years, it was explained.

“[Cunningham’s] insightful guidance and unwavering commitment have been instrumental in steering our company through numerous challenges and opportunities. Kathy’s legacy of excellence will continue to inspire us as we move forward,” said Liniger.

RE/MAX Holdings, Inc. is a global franchisor in the real estate and mortgage brokerage sectors, operating under the RE/MAX and Motto Mortgage brands. Founded in 1973, RE/MAX boasts more than 140,000 agents in nearly 9,000 offices across over 110 countries and territories.
