Financial expert rises through the ranks to take top financial role
Panorama Mortgage Group has appointed Philip Riccio (pictured) as its new chief financial officer (CFO), the company announced Tuesday.
According to a news release, Riccio brings to his new role more than 20 years of expertise in capital markets, financial management, and strategic leadership.
Riccio has been with Panorama Mortgage Group since February 2022. He initially joined as senior vice president of capital markets before advancing to executive vice president of capital markets and third-party origination in 2024. The company noted that, in these roles, Riccio managed trading, hedging, pricing, and investor relations, and spearheaded the creation of a correspondent and wholesale lending channel with a reported $70 million in monthly volume.
Prior to joining Panorama, Riccio took on leadership positions at mortgage firms including Stearns Lending and Caliber Home Loans. His background includes developing best-execution pricing models, implementing AI-driven strategies, and building and leading high-performing teams.
The company lauded Riccio’s leadership style, stating, “He is known for his collaborative leadership style, which empowers his team through support and delegation and fosters a culture of accountability and innovation.”
In his new role as CFO, Riccio will oversee the company’s financial operations, including strategic planning and financial reporting, while ensuring its sustainable growth as it navigates an evolving market.
“His ability to analyze complex financial landscapes and make data-driven decisions positions the company for continued success in an evolving market,” the news release highlighted. “Panorama Mortgage Group is confident that Mr. Riccio’s expertise and leadership will drive the company's mission to deliver exceptional service and innovation in the mortgage industry.”
Outside of work, Riccio is known to be a supporter of baseball, particularly the New York Yankees. He is also actively involved in volunteer work with his church.
