New arrival bolsters line-up
Service First Mortgage has expanded its mortgage team in the San Antonio market with the addition of branch manager Angel Ortiz (pictured).
Ortiz joined the Texas-based mortgage company after a five-year stint at Cornerstone Home Lending, where he worked as a top-producing loan officer.
Commenting on the new arrival, John Donnelly, executive director of sales, commended Ortiz’s enthusiasm for the role.

“I am truly excited that Angel Ortiz has joined our team here at Service First Mortgage,” Donnelly said in the company’s release. “His energy and passion for delivering amazing service to his customers and his partners are infectious, and I am looking forward to working with him to expand in the San Antonio area.”
“San Antonio is through and through home,” Ortiz said. “When I go to real estate-related events that are about the city of San Antonio, it makes me realize how proud I am to be here and be a part of this community. I was looking for somewhere where I could have an operation [process] behind me that could back up my business while being part of a good culture that I could trust.”
