Stewart appoints new group president of agency services

Stewart Information Services Corporation has named Iain Bryant (pictured) as the new group president of agency services, succeeding Tara Smith who has left the company.

Bryant, who joined Stewart in 2021 through the acquisition of A.S.K. Services where he was co-owner and principal, had been serving as the Central States agency district manager overseeing services for independent agents across 17 states.

“Tara has accepted a position outside of Stewart. Under her leadership, we’ve built the foundation for agents’ ease of use, expanded our title production capabilities, and improved our agency’s commercial support infrastructure,” Stewart CEO Fred Eppinger said in the company’s release. “Our product offerings are fundamentally stronger now, and our agency services team is well-positioned to act as a strategic partner for our customers. I am thankful for Tara’s many contributions to Stewart.”

Bryant brings over a decade of experience in management, sales and customer service roles. Before Stewart, he was an account executive of Gartner’s strategic account organization. Bryant has also held various managerial positions at STERIS Instrument Management Services and Boost Rewards. Bryant is a past board member of the Michigan Land Title Association.

“I am excited to have Iain as a member of our executive leadership team,” Eppinger added. “Over the last several years, he has been a critical part of the agency leadership team and has had an integral role in establishing and executing our agency’s strategic plans. Iain is a proven leader with a strong customer focus and will continue to deliver valuable support to our independent agent customers.”

“I have the privilege to serve Stewart’s Central US agency division. My primary objective is to invest in and enable our leaders and teams as they support our 700+ premier independent title agents across 17 states,” Bryant wrote in his LinkedIn bio.
