VRM Mortgage Services has named Leigh Gibson (pictured) as its new vice president of strategic initiatives.
In her new role, Gibson will oversee the research and development of VRM’s new products and services. The company said in a statement that Gibson will also “help guide VRM’s mission and momentum towards new and improved solutions and marketability.”
“VRM’s strategic initiatives division will identify, refine and develop solutions that satisfy the customer needs in an ever-changing market,” Gibson said. “Product concepts, born out of thorough research and development, will bring new life to the industry and create a positive momentum of change. By evaluating every facet of the value chain, we can deliver products and services that help our customers either upstream or downstream, a cornerstone of process improvement and product innovation.”
Gibson joined the company in 2011. Over the past 12 years at VRM, she has driven structured process improvement disciplines, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, cost reductions, and expanded service offerings. VRM provides services that help coordinate the support function of performing and non-performing loans, from commercial property solutions and short sale services to title and closing coordination and field services.
Before VRM, Gibson spent more than five years at Romexsoft USA, where she served as director of application development and chief technical architect. She has also held various leadership positions at Essilor of America, The Rascal Group, Sentari Technologies, and GE.
