Executive brings "ideal combination of industry experience and achievements," CEO says
The Real Brokerage has appointed Alexandra Lumpkin (pictured) as its first-ever general counsel.
Lumpkin, who most recently served as deputy general counsel at homebuilding company Lennar, will now oversee the legal and compliance matters at The Real Brokerage. She will report to chairman and CEO Tamir Poleg, who described Lumpkin as an "excellent addition" to the company's leadership team as it continues to scale and "instill a performance culture" to "achieve greater results for its stakeholders."
"We are thrilled to welcome Alix to our leadership team. She is an incredibly talented attorney who joins Real with an ideal combination of industry experience and achievements," Poleg said.
Lumpkin brings extensive knowledge of the residential real estate industry to her new role, having spent nearly 10 years at Lennar. She joined the homebuilder in 2013 as an associate general counsel and was promoted to deputy general counsel in 2021.
Before joining Lennar, Lumpkin focused her practice on advising public and private companies – including multinational law firms Greenberg Traurig and Holland & Knight – on capital markets transactions, disclosure and corporate governance matters and M&A transactions.
"I am thrilled to join Real as it continues to rapidly grow its integrated technology across its brokerage, mortgage and title operations," Lumpkin said. "Real's expertise in delivering a performance-oriented platform, along with its focus on revolutionizing the real estate experience, is such an appealing combination. I look forward to working with this talented team and helping to further drive its growth and success."
