Canadian-headquartered firm has been busy this month
September has seen four new highly experienced US appointments for fast-growing international real estate firm Avison Young.
In Texas, Rob Bridges joined as principal and VP of property management, Texas, with 31 years of experience, most recently as the executive managing director and leader of national asset services at Transwestern in Houston.
Steven Kohn joins as a principal of Avison Young with a mandate to help lead and grow the firm’s industrial real estate brokerage practice in Cook County and labor-related markets across Chicagoland. He has 22 years of commercial real estate experience, most recently as an executive vice-president with Colliers International.
In Washington, DC, Andrew Genova also becomes a principal and will be based in Avison Young’s Tyson’s Corner office with 11 years of commercial real estate experience, most recently as a vice-president with West, Lane & Schlager Real Estate Advisors in Washington.
And in New Jersey, Drew Persson becomes a principal, with 30 years of CRE experience, most recently as a senior vice-president at Newmark Knight Frank in Rutherford, NJ, where he was a member of the company’s global corporate real estate group for nine years.
The firm which has operations across North America, Europe, and Asia Pacific, comprises 5,000 real estate professionals in 120 offices in 20 countries.
