LendingTree’s quarterly list is based on reviews
A quarterly ranking of best-in-class lenders has been revealed by online lending platform LendingTree.
Based on customer reviews of lenders on the platform, the results show a single winner in mortgage, home equity, auto, and personal loans; along with ‘badges’ for runners-up.
In the mortgage category, loanDepot takes the top spot and there are top 10 badges for BBMC Mortgage (a division of Bridgeview Bank); NBKC Bank; Insight Loans; Triumph Lending; J.G. Wentworth Home Lending, LLC; Royal United Mortgage; Reliance First Capital, LLC; Intelliloan; and AmeriSave Mortgage Corporation.
Southern California-based loanDepot employs more than 6,500 across the US including more than 1,800 licensed loan officers holding more than 14,000 licenses.
For home equity loans only two lenders qualified with Chicago-based bank First MidWest named the winner and a top 3 badge for Spring EQ LLC.
Other winners were Lending Club for personal loans and Auto Approve for auto loans.
Lender rankings are based on a weighted average of overall rating and the total volume of customer reviews in each category and lenders were rated on offered rates, fees and closing costs, responsiveness, customer service and overall customer experience.
