Miami-based Platinum Luxury Auctions named as preferred supplier
A high-end auction house has announced a new relationship with Berkshire Hathaway Home Services to provide luxury auction services.
Platinum Luxury Auctions specializes in the non-distressed sale of multimillion-dollar properties nationwide on behalf of their wealthy owners.
"As a progressive real estate brokerage franchise organization designed for today's real estate market, Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices is demonstrating its market savvy by embracing the luxury real estate auction process as yet another tool in the vast arsenal of marketing and sales strategies it offers its franchise members," said Trayor Lesnock, Platinum's president and founder.
The brokerage’s members will be able to access Platinum’s services for their clients, which are typically for those with homes in the $2.5m-$20m. It mainly sells homes in the US but has also handled sales in the Caribbean and as far away as Fiji.
The agreement with Berkshire Hathaway Home Services was finalized in July and Platinum has been working on its integration and servicing strategy since with some bespoke requirements for its new client.
Platinum already provides real estate auction services to Sotheby’s International Realty affiliates.
It expects to begin integration with Berkshire Hathaway Home Services agents at Berkshire’s 2018 Summit Conference, which runs Sept. 30 through Oct. 2, 2018 in Canada.
