A mortgage brokerage network launched as part of the RE/MAX family of businesses has now sold 40 brokerages on its journey to nationwide coverage.
Motto Mortgage is a franchise operation which launched a year ago and has already seen 20 branches open their doors. Another 20 are pending while the remaining states are for sale. This means that the mortgage brokerage network now has wider coverage than RE/MAX itself.
"We want customers to have access to the Motto Mortgage experience in every marketplace. Potential owners from across the country have been patiently waiting for us to open this opportunity up to them so they can improve the overall experience associated with buying a home," said Motto Franchising President Ward Morrison.
Each of the franchises is independently owned, operated and licensed and the model connects real estate brokerages to a separate mortgage brokerage.
Freddy Rodriguez has entered the mortgage industry through a Motto franchise and says that it hadn’t been something he had considered before.
Rodriguez already has a successful real estate brokerage in Houston with RE/MAX and says he hopes the tie-in will help more in the region to become homeowners.
"The best thing about Motto Mortgage is that our loan originators can look for great loans for borrowers with several different wholesale lenders," Rodriguez said.
