Motto Mortgage has reached a milestone 100 franchises as it approaches the second anniversary of its launch.
The national mortgage brokerage franchise was founded by RE/MAX Holdings in October 2016 and has spread across the country with more than 60 franchises already operating in 28 states and DC.
Its concept is a “mortgage brokerage in a box” and the model means that franchisees work closely with real estate agents.
"One hundred franchises sold in less than two years is remarkable for a startup franchisor, regardless of the industry. This just showcases how revolutionary the Motto Mortgage model truly is," said Motto Franchising, LLC President Ward Morrison. "It's incredibly exciting. We're charting new territory as the first national mortgage brokerage franchise and will continue to capitalize upon this momentum."
100th franchise sold to Florida couple
The 100th Motto Mortgage franchise was bought by Bill and Kendall Bonner of Tampa, Florida.
The duo brings real estate experience to their new business as RE/MAX franchise owners and a combined 40 years as attorneys and real estate professionals.
"Our goal is to truly become a convenient, one-stop shop where customers have the choices they want, and caring experts they know they can count on," said Kendall Bonner.
