Analysis considers housing costs, income growth, more than 51 key indicators of livability
A wide-ranging set of metrics has been used to discover the Best State to Live In for 2019.
The analysis from WalletHub is based on 51 livability metrics including housing costs, income growth, education, health, and safety; and ranks Massachusetts at the top followed by Minnesota, and New Hampshire.
However, the overall winner is low on the list for affordability, ranking 43rd. Alabama, West Virginia, and Utah lead in that regard. Utah, Idaho, and Minnesota are the only states to make the overall top 10 and also rank in the top 10 for affordability.
