In this edition of MPA Talk, we meet Tom Ahles, who is a mortgage broker, president of growth at the Association of Independent Mortgage Experts (AIME) and co-founder of Edge Home Finance. Ahles’ career journey has been a fascinating one, from starting out in nightclub management and operations, investigating theft, before making the move into property finance. A man who clearly relishes his mentoring role at AIME, supporting brokers, Ahles says: “The oldest saying in the book is when you have a job that you love, you never work a day in your life.”
