Appointee to "drive compelling diversity and inclusion outcomes" in new position

CBRE promotes company veteran to chief responsibility officer

Tim Dismond (pictured), who joined CBRE in 2008, has been appointed to the newly created role of chief responsibility officer.

The commercial real estate industry veteran previously served as chief diversity officer and will now be responsible for leading all aspects of the group’s Environmental, Social & Governance (ESG) efforts. Dismond will also retain his current responsibilities and continue to report to CBRE President and CEO Bob Sulentic.

“Tim has already had a tremendous impact in advancing our diversity efforts,” Sulentic said. “His increased scope and authority, and higher profile inside and outside CBRE, will put him in an even more powerful position to drive compelling diversity and inclusion outcomes, as well as accelerate our gains across the full spectrum of ESG programs. In the process, we will strengthen our company and the work we do for clients.”

Before his promotion to chief diversity officer last year, Dismond served as a division president in the firm’s Global Workplace Solutions (GWS) Enterprise business.
