Clarion Partners has scored a 29-acre parcel in Louisville, Ky., for $24 million, according to the New York Business Journal.
The New York real estate developer reportedly obtained the parcel on National Turnpiketo construct an industrial facility.
Alesia Bishop, Randall George and Laura Band have owned 7830 National Turnpike since 1992.
Clarion is expected to begin construction in the spring. Tenants and construction timeline are yet to be determined. Once completed, the building will make up 4.3 million square feet in the Louisville market.
Clarion now owns four million square feet of completed space in the Louisville Industrial Center on National Turnpike. The New York developer also intends to setup an industrial development with more than 100 million square feet in Sellersburg, Ind., projected to be more than $40 million
