New name reflects its dedication to technology and innovation
ConsumerDirect Mortgage, a division of FirstBank, has rebranded as Real Genius – a move the company said will better align the brand with its technology that makes the mortgage process easier and more economical for consumers.
Since its founding in 2012, Real Genius has originated more than $15 billion in loans, serving customers nationwide with mortgage offices throughout the Southeast. FirstBank acquired the direct-to-consumer mortgage company in 2013.
The rebrand is in line with the launch of its mortgage application platform that aims to simplify and speed up the loan process.
