The acquisition is the latest in a series of buys as the company consolidates its position in the property-data space
CoreLogic has continued expanding its dominance in the data and analytics space with the acquisition of National Tax Search (NTS). NTS provides comprehensive property tax management services to lenders, real estate investment trusts, and property-management companies.
“The acquisition of NTS combines premier property data and real estate expertise from CoreLogic with NTS’ leading technology and excellence in customer service,” said Nancy Langer, executive, Real Estate Tax and Payment Solutions at CoreLogic. “As a result, we are creating a unique foundation that will digitize the commercial tax market and bring an enhanced user experience to our customer base.”
Through the acquisition, CoreLogic will obtain the NTS property tax portal, TaxQ.
“We’re excited to bring together tax industry leaders and offer a new depth of industry experience through our experienced teams,” said Lori Eshoo, president of NTS. “By unifying our operations with CoreLogic, our joint capabilities will drive a new standard of transparency, helping to facilitate the delivery of unmatched solutions for our customers.”
The NTS buy is the latest of several acquisitions CoreLogic has made in the last few years as it consolidates its position in the data and analytics space. Last year, the analytics giant acquired a la mode, a provider of appraisal software. In 2017, the company acquired Mercury Network from Serent Capital. In the last few years, CoreLogic has also acquired RELS, FNC, and LandSafe Appraisal Network.
