DocMagic, MortgageHippo team up for eSignature integration

The new feature reduces origination costs and accelerates the mortgage process

DocMagic and MortgageHippo have announced an integration under which MortgageHippo will provide an eSignature process to its lender customers through DocMagic.

DocMagic is a provider of loan document preparation, regulatory compliance, and comprehensive eMortgage services. MortgageHippo, a fintech-driven digital lending platform, provides mortgage lenders with a white-labeled web and mobile-ready products.

Through the integration, MortgageHippo’s lender customers can offer their borrowers an option to sign documents electronically throughout the mortgage process, from point-of-sale to closing. The process is as legal and valid as the manual process using printed and wet-signed documents. As a result, lenders see a faster mortgage process and reduced origination costs as eSignatures eliminate time constraints and accessibility limitations related to the manual process.

To use the feature, lenders can order disclosures directly from their loan origination systems. MortgageHippo then provides eDelivery of the disclosures to the consumer via the MortgageHippo borrower portal for compliant eSigning using DocMagic’s eSign technology. The service is available for initial disclosures, loan estimates, closing disclosures, and closing documents.
